Terms & Conditions of Booking
Panoramic Camping and Glamping is the trading name of panoramiccampingandglamping ltd that is the provider of this holiday.
By making a holiday booking you accept the following Terms & Conditions:
In order to comply with countryside planning policy, we operate as a Greener Camping Club members-only campsite. The Club was established by people with a passion for sustainable, eco-friendly camping holidays. When you book your holiday with us, you will be enrolled as a member of the Club. Membership costs just £12 for the calendar year and gives you access to some of the greenest campsites in the UK. It also includes participation in the Club’s ‘Trees for Life’ scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every member we enrol.
Payment
We request a 50% conditionally-refundable deposit when booking a camping pitch or bell tent. Receipt of the deposit secures your booking. Please note that the deposit includes full payment (£12) for your Greener Camping Club membership. Pitches and safari tents are held provisionally for up to seven days, after which, if we have not received your deposit, the dates will be released. The balance is required two weeks prior to your arrival date. If we do not receive your balance by this time, we will assume you have cancelled your holiday and release the dates - see below. For short lead-time bookings - ie. those booked less than six weeks before arrival, the full amount will be requested to secure the booking.
Cancellation by You
If you cancel your holiday six weeks or more before your arrival date we will refund your deposit less a 20% admin fee,the Greener Camping Club membership fee and the pitch up fee are not refundable. If you cancel your holiday less than six weeks before your arrival date your deposit/payment is non refundable. The Greener Camping Club membership fee is not refundable. Bookings are not transferable to another family without our prior agreement in writing. If you are concerned about the prospect of cancellation, please take out holiday insurance. Cancellation by Us
Panoramic Camping & Glamping reserves the right to cancel a camping or safari tent holiday at short notice if we are unable to provide safe accommodation or camping environment, due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other extenuating circumstances beyond our control. Under such circumstances, your full payment will be returned to you. Panoramic Camping & Glamping cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation. The Greener Camping Club membership fee and the pitch up fee are not refundable.
Pet corner
All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult – ideally no more than 2 children
per adult when visiting the petting area.
All children remain the responsibility of their supervising adult at all times!
We cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury.
The risk of infection from farm visits is very small, but the diseases caused can be very
serious. By following simple guidelines, similar to everyday basic hygiene recommendations,
the risk can be easily minimised.
Entry is only allowed to the pens and not any further onto the farmyard.
WE OPERATE A STRICT LOOK BUT DO NOT TOUCH OR FEED POLICY
Food and drinks are not permitted in animal areas.
Outdoor visits to the farm pet corner are weather permitted, and there may be times
when the outdoors are not accessible.We allow you to enter between 10am - 2pm.
Please help us keep our Farm clean &tidy so do not drop litter.
We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
Alcohol is not permitted for consumption within the farmyard or buildings.
The management retains the right to refuse admission.
We have Zero Tolerance Policy toward rude, destructive or disruptive behaviour. Children or
Adults displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave.
Children & Adults Safety
There are many opportunities for play and adventure at Panoramic Camping & Glamping. Our aim is for children to have a truly enriching experience of space and freedom. But there are contingent risks to be aware of. We permit campfires, there are 2 sediment ponds and a small stream on the farm but not adjoining the camp field , we are a working livestock farm having cattle and sheep, we make hay/silage and arable crops during the summer months - so please be aware that there are tractors and heavy machines on the farm but will not be accessing the camping area. These risks are small and should be self-evident - but if you are not clear, please ask! Panoramic Camping & Glamping accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site at all times.The risk of infection from a farm visit is very small, but the diseases caused can be very serious. It is important that all visitors are aware of the correct health and safety guidelines.Only eat or drink in the designated areas, never eat food which has fallen to the ground. Your children are your responsibility during the visit. You should supervise them especially during hand washing, to make sure that each child washes thoroughly. Cover cuts, grazes, etc. with a waterproof dressing. Do not climb on to animal pens etc. Do no chase, frighten or torment the animals. Before you depart, please ensure all children wash their hands thoroughly one last time.If a member of your group shows signs of illness (e.g. sickness or diarrhoea) after a visit,please speak to your doctor and explain that you have had recent contact with animals.
CCTV
These premises are protected by CCTV for the purposes of crime prevention and the safety of our guests,visitors property and staff
Arrival & Departure Times
Arrival time is between 4pm and 8pm for the Glamping site .
Arrival time is between 2pm and 8pm for the camping site .
Please call us if you think you may arrive later so that we can make suitable arrangements.
On departure day, please vacate your camping pitch or safari tents by 11am prompt.
Cars & Campervans
The speed limit while on Panoramic Camping & Glamping is 5 mph.
If you are staying in the camping meadow you may take your car down to your pitch on arrival day to set up - and on departure day to pack up. For the rest of your stay, cars must be parked in the car park provided by the field. Campervans are only permitted on certain pitches.
Consideration for Others
This is a peaceful, quiet campsite for the enjoyment of nature. We do not allow radios, stereos or other sound systems and only quiet talking is permitted after 10.00pm. Noisy visitors who disturb other guests will be asked to reduce the noise and if they fail to do so will then politely be asked to leave, without a refund.
Drones
Are not permitted on the campsite or any Greener camping campsite, if we find someone using these, then you will be asked to take it down if you do not comply with our instructions you will be asked to leave the site.
Recycling & Rubbish
All rubbish must be recycled. That means separating glass, tins, plastic, paper, cardboard, food waste etc. and placing them in the designated bins. What is left, ie. only items that are not recyclable, can be placed in the landfill bin.
Campfires
Please use the paving slab to place the firepit on,these are in the wooden huts .Do not leave your campfire unattended and think carefully about whether or not to light a fire if it is windy. My Campsite accepts no liability for injury or damage caused by your campfire. By lighting it you accept full responsibility for it.
Day Visitors
Day visitors are only permitted by prior agreement due to insurance policies.Fees may apply.
Property Loss
Panoramic Camping & Glamping cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property.
Smokers
All the safari tents and all the undercover facilities are strictly NO SMOKING. If you smoke, do it outside and dispose of your cigarette ends in a safe manner.
Dog Policy
We do not permit dogs onsite due to the presence of livestock.
The Weather
‘Extreme Weather’ is covered in ‘Cancellations by Us’. This campsite can be subjected to strong winds and can occur at any time of year. You must ensure that your tent is robust and pitched correctly. In some cases we may ask you to move to another pitch. Please note, we do not provide a refund because the weather has not worked out, or is not to your liking. Extreme weather is covered in ‘Cancellations by Us’.
Additional Terms & Conditions relating to safari tent bookings
Gas for the Camp Kitchen
Gas for the camp kitchen cooker is included in the price of the booking. Please use the gas cooker in accordance with the instructions and never leave anything aflame if you are not in attendance.
Bioethanol fires.
A 1 litre bottle of fuel is provided in the price of the tent, please read instructions on how to fill and light the fire before use this is provided in the tent near the fire. By lighting the fire you accept full responsibility for it
Breakages & Damage
Should any damage or breakages occur, other than acceptable wear and tear, a charge for repairs or replacement will be made. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a safari tent has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc. Guests will be held responsible for any fire, smoke or general damage, or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.
